Variegated yarn surprises
I love knitting with variegated yarns. The changes in the colors create pretty patterns and pools of color making the most mundane stitch patterns interesting. I kind of like 'em unmatched. It reminds me of some socks I saw in a catalog (Chinaberry, maybe?) They came in sets of three unmatched items--so when you lost one sock you still had a pair. I'm knitting with some variegated Bernat yarn right now--a little drawstring bag for a young cousin.
